OU Physical Plant is responsible for meeting the University's ever-changing needs for buildings and mechanical equipment, utilities, and custodial services. OU Physical Plant employs about 340 permanent employees that include talented craftspersons, skilled professionals, and highly-qualified support personnel - all here to make our campus a comfortable place - whether you're here to study, work, live, play, or just visit. We provide services such as the following:
- Power, heat, air conditioning, and water.
- Janitorial services.
- Routine repairs and maintenance in campus buildings, including plumbing, electrical, and other work.
- Minor renovations, such as painting, carpeting, shelving, and upholstery.
- Key cutting and lock recombinations.
- Remodels.
- Hauling and moving.
- Special event set-up.
